As part of our customer service commitment, Sapient Stews stands behind our products and we want you to be as happy with them as we are. If for any reason you’re unsatisfied, we encourage you to email [email protected].
If any of the scenarios below apply, please do not open the shipping box or any internal packaging. Instead, take photos and email us within 14 days of receipt.
- The exterior box was substantially damaged during shipment.
- The product inside the box is defective or you received an incorrect item.
- The product has melted or has lost its shape.
PLEASE NOTE: If the product itself is slightly thawed on the outside, at 40ºF or below, it is safe to refreeze or heat and eat immediately.
Per food safety guidelines, perishable food products cannot be returned. However, we will examine the photos, and if we deem the product defective as the result of our efforts or the shipping carrier, we will provide a refund or replace your order at your request.
Once approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or the original method of payment within 5 days. We will ship any replacements within 2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
No refunds or exchanges will be given for:
- Change of mind
- Products that have been opened or tampered with or are not in their original condition
- Incorrect orders made by the customer
- Packages left unattended for more than 24 hours once delivered (due to temperature controls and perishability)
- Product is “not quite to your liking”
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund after 5 days, we ask that you first check with your bank or credit card company as it may take up to 14 business days for your refund to officially post. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund yet, please email [email protected].
